Arrivals Mia airport
Be prepared to spend at least an hour after the plane landed to go through customs, go through US customs, and retrieve your bags. This is an estimate since it might take 2 or 3 hours if there is heavy traffic during the season or if an aircraft is late and there is traffic congestion at the airport. These waits have been much longer before you depart Miami Airport during the Covid -19 epidemic.
After landing at MIA, you will arrive at the arrivals building. For foreign flights that are not covered by the Schengen Agreement, you must still pass through border control after landing before receiving your luggage from the baggage carousel.
