The military Hospitality Lounge won’t impress you with its high-end luxurious looks. Still, it is a cozy warm place for military servants, veterans, and their family members to restore their forces between the flights at Miami International Airport. The Armed Forces Service Center operates this lounge.

The Military Hospitality Lounge Design

The design of the Military Hospitality Lounge is simple but functional. Just at the entrance, there’s the middle-sized eagle statue. Behind the statue, there’s a string of military emblems. Thus, you can see at first sight that the lounge serves as the home for active and reserved military travelers. Their family members can also have some rest here.

The lounge is decorated in white and blue colors. It is not too spacious, but it boasts a custom-made style. Each detail in the lounge reminds you, that it is the hub for military people. On one of the premises, there’s a huge board with military emblems on it. The American flag is standing in some lounge rooms.

The visit to this lounge is free of charge. Volunteers and contributors work here to make the trips of military people and their relatives more comfortable.

You may have a snack while waiting for your flight to the final destination.

Food and Beverages at the Military Hospitality Lounge

While staying in the lounge, the travelers have access to hot and cold snacks. There’s not too extensive food and beverage selection here, as the lounge budget is based on donations and kindness of people, who care about the US military people.

To satisfy your hunger, you may have a drink from the small fridge here. Fast snacks, like chips or cookies, hot tea or coffee are also on the menu.

Amenities at the Military Hospitality Lounge

The Military Hospitality Lounge is a cozy oasis, where you can have some rest from the fuss of the noisy terminal.

The lounge consists of several premises, where the military people can relax or do some work – depending on their needs. The seating places consist of soft armchairs and small tables near them. There are power pots nearby to recharge the gadgets.

In the Military Hospitality Lounge, they offer additional rooms for families with kids. There’s the play area, full of toys and table games for small guests.

In the relaxation area, there are lots of recliners to have a nap. If you are not too tired, you may watch TV in a separate room. There’s also a stand with magazines to entertain yourself with some interesting articles.

The bathrooms in the Military Hospitality Lounge are super clean. But there are no shower cabins here, which may cause some disappointment for the travelers.

In general, the Miami Military Hospitality Lounge is a perfect place to stay between the flights for military servants and their families exclusively. The lounge got mostly the highest-scored reviews from the visitors. The only drawback of the lounge, mentioned in the reviews, was connected with its opening hours. Unfortunately, the lounge doesn’t work at night. And sometimes it is closed during the business hours, too.

However, the Miami Military Hospitality is highly recommended for a visit if you have such an opportunity.
