Lounges in Miami International Airport’s North Terminal

In MIA’s North Terminal, four lounges exist. Three ones are managed by American Airlines, while the fourth, the Centurion Lounge, is administered by American Express. This terminal features Concourse D only, and all lounges are situated beyond the security desk.

In the Miami International Airport, Concourse D, two lounges belong to the Admirals Club network. The first one is located near gate D-15. The second Admiral Club lounge in Miami International Airport can be found at the gate D-30.

Both lounges have the same access rules. To get there, you can buy a one-day pass for $79 or use your advantage miles. The Admiral Club lounges at Miami International Airport have the same working hours, too. Still, the Admiral Club Lounge D-30 has a more extensive menu. Food and beverage options here include hot soups, potato dishes, a wide selection of drinks, etc.

There are several lounges in the North Terminal MIA, so if you are looking for the best fit for you, consider the Flagship Lounge Miami. It shares the entrance with the Admiral Club D-30.

The MIA passengers choose the Flagship Lounge for its spacious and cozy premises. It is organized in the form of an atrium-style square. The terminal building can be seen out of the lounge’s window, which allows you to control the situation.

The Flagship Lounge is a great choice for passengers, who need some sleep between the flights. For them, there’s the quiet room to the right upon entering. This room features beds and it is darker.

There are two working and two temporarily closed lounges in the Central Terminal. The closed lounges belong to the Club America network. There’s no information, if they are going to accept guests again.  As for the working lounges, they can be found in the Concourse E.

The Military Hospitality Lounge is located in the pre-security zone. To access the lounge, placed on the second level, you should use an elevator. We can’t recommend this lounge to you, and it’s impossible to get a one-day pass or membership here. Just military servants (active or retired) and members of their families have a right to access the lounge.

The Military Hospitality Lounge is absolutely free. It is a non-commercial organization, operated by volunteers and donators. The lounge has been working for 25+ years already, providing the necessary rest and food to military people, traveling through Miami International Airport.

Although the food and drink selection is very modest here (like chips and doughnuts, tea, and coffee), there’s a cozy place for military personnel. There’s a great kids’ room for those veterans and active military servants, traveling with kids. For those, who plan to work, there’s a fast Wi-Fi connection, fax, computers, etc. For military people, who need some rest on the way to the final destination, there are recliners.

The Turkish Airlines: Concourse E

The other lounge in this terminal is the Turkish Airlines. It is located in the same concourse on the 2nd level in the post-security zone.
The Turkish Airlines is a perfect rest area, which has just one drawback – it’s quite small. That’s why the rest and working zones very often stay overcrowded here. Still, many people choose this small oasis of peace in the busy Miami International Airport. The spacious shower suites, which give that refreshment all travelers need, are not the only reason for the Turkish Airlines lounge’s popularity. The other motivation is the oriental food, served here.t

The guests of Turkish Airlines enjoy original Turkish tea, baklava, spiced stewed vegetables, and soups. This lounge got mostly positive reviews from visitors.

If you are tired on your way to the final destination and looking for some ideas on how to have a rest or to work in silence, watching at the terminal fuss through the windows of your hub, then you need to visit a lounge. In the South Terminal of Miami International Airport, there are four lounges. The Avianca SALA VIP Lounge, located in Concourse J, is out of work. The other three – Delta Airlines Sky Club, the second Turkish Airlines Lounge and LATAM VIP Lounge are in use. In addition, each of them has great features, which make them a desirable oasis of peace for travelers.

If you like Delta Sky Club brand, you will enjoy MIA lounge too as it is typical for the network. Some visitors mention, that the Delta Airlines Sky Club Miami is a bit outdated and small, still very cozy.

The Turkish Airlines Lounge: Concourse H

The second Turkish Airlines Lounge is located in the South Terminal, between H and J concourses. This lounge is open 24 hours seven days a week (unlike the other Turkish Airlines lounge in the Miami International Airport). The selection of food and drinks is typical for this brand. The lounge also has lots of amenities, like shower cabins, a kids’ room, a vast relaxing area, and a business room, suitable for working in silence.

The third lounge, which can be found in the South Terminal of Miami International Airport, is LATAM VIP Lounge. The lounge occupies a vast area in Concourse J, not far from Gate J6.
